Jason M. Gelhar's Obituary
Jason M. Gelhar, age 46, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. He was born in Oshkosh on September 27, 1974, the son of Michael and Kathy (Trudeau) Gelhar. Jason graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 1993 where he met the love of his life, Angella. He and Angie were married on April 25, 2003, in Oshkosh, WI
Jason worked at Wisconsin Digital Imaging as a Digital Products Specialist, but to those that knew him best, he would rather have been out on the golf course, hunting with his buddies, or spending time at the Gelhar family cabin. Jason was always someone who you could count on to have a laugh with, share a dirty joke, or shoot the breeze. He was someone who loved his family, loved his friends, and loved life!
Jason is survived by and his memory will be cherished by his loving wife Angella, son Camden (his beloved Lindsey Kloiber), and daughter Emma; his parents, Michael and Kathy Gelhar; his sister Trista Gelhar Groth (David); father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Janet Miller; sister-in-law Laurajane Evich; nephews Carson, Dayne, and Mason; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Jason’s sudden loss leaves us all with a void in our hearts, but more importantly he leaves us better people just for knowing him and sharing his friendship and love. He lived a wonderful life, especially as of late, with his family, and they will be forever grateful for him. We love you Jason.
A private family service will be held at Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Homes in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. A celebration of Jason’s life will be held at Far Vu Golf Course in Oshkosh, WI in the spring, with the date yet to be determined.
