Jean A. Mingus' Obituary
Jean A. Mingus, 91 of Oshkosh passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, at home surrounded by family. Jean was born May 17, 1934, in Oshkosh, the daughter of the late Clarence and May Ruddy. On October 6th, 1956, she married Jack P. Mingus at St. Mary's Church by Bishop Grellinger. Jack preceded her death on July 15, 2014. She was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church. Jean was employed for many years as a laborer and retired from Schneider Electric. Jean is survived by her children: Steve (Ann) Mingus, Gayle Burns, Dan (Linda) Mingus, Marge Seibel, and Paul (Kristi) Mingus. Grandchildren: Kelly (Dave) Mingus, Jenny (Chris) Staysniak, Callie (Scott) Hartel, Sarah (Matt) Schmunk, Rachel Burns, Nick Burns, Tyler (Hayden) Matz, Courtney (Nick) Parmley, Caytlen Mingus (Zach Mateyka), Kati (Eric) Probst, Ben Seibel and Andy Seibel, Christopher and Brynne Mingus. Jean is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and her beloved dog Barley. A memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, 830 S Westhaven Dive. Family and friends may call at the church Friday, January 2, 2026, from 10 am until the time of service.
