JEANNE ELEANOR ZELLNER's Obituary
Jeanne Eleanor Zellner, age 95 of Oshkosh, died Sunday March 4, 2018 at Bella Vista Manor in Oshkosh. She was born in Oshkosh May 20, 1922 the daughter of the late Edward and Stella Kohl Gruetzmacher. Jeanne married Harold Zellner on September 22, 1944. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1995. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Oshkosh, the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. Jeanne enjoyed flower arranging, cooking, and spending time with family, friends, and her therapy dogs, Prince and Butters.
Survivors include one daughter; Sharon Simon, of Oshkosh, two grandchildren; Thomas (Jeanne) Simon, Pewaukee, Stephanie (Chris) Rogers, Oshkosh, four great-grandchildren; Hailey, Elijah, Emily Rogers, Lia Simon, two great-great-grandchildren; Mallory and Carsyn Bunnell. Jeanne is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
Jeanne was preceded in death by one son-in-law; Robert N. Simon.
Funeral services for Jeanne will be held on Monday March 12, at 6:00 PM in Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S Westhaven) with Fr. Christopher Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM until the hour of services.
