Joan Carol Dadas' Obituary
Joan Dadas (81) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 at her home. Joan was born in Oshkosh, WI. On May 24th, 1942 the daughter of Raymond and Dolores Troxell. She was married to the love of her life, Daniel Dadas on May 19, 1962 in Oshkosh.
Joan worked at Bemis and retired after 25 years as a quality control specialist in 2006. After retirement Joan loved to spend time visiting family, soaking up the sun and taking long drives with Danny to see the season change of colors. Her favorite pastime was Bingo. Her grandchildren will always remember playing “Joneida” at Christmas time.
She is survived by her three children: Kim Dadas, Troy Dadas, Nicole (David Jr.) Suess. Her loving grandchildren who she cherished; Ryan (Liz) Hebert, Kourtney Rousseau, Ashley Carratt, Sean Dadas, Danny Dadas, Brittany Thresher, Brandon Thresher, Two step grandchildren Yolanda Suess- Drier, and Mandy Suess and many nieces and nephews. Her great grandchildren; Katannah Dadas, Evan Hebert, Karter Hebert, Kyla Augsburger, Payton Thresher and Harmony Thresher. Two sister-in-laws; Debbie (Ray) Karau, Judy Dadas and one brother-in-law, Gene Dadas. She was proceeded in death by her husband Dan Dadas, parents Dolores and Ray Troxell, Siblings: Gloria (Tom) Duley, Diana (Ike) Petri and Dennis Troxell. Brother-in-law Adrian Dadas, Sister-in-laws Geraldine Lonza, Mary Burns, Marlene (Bill) Butt.
Her children will aways be grateful for her strength, love, support and all the beautiful memories. “ Of all the gifts that life has to offer, a loving mother is the greatest of them all.”
The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses at Compassus and Chris Dadas for the warm care and comfort you gave mom. Along with all her special friends who held a spot in her heart.
Kim would like to give a special thank you to her daughter, Kourtney Rousseau and her best friend Renee Hanson for all the help with mom.
Per Joan’s wishes there will be no funeral or service, but a Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date
