Joan E Kinderman's Obituary
Joan E. Kinderman, 80 years old of Oshkosh went home to be with the Lord on Sunday February 4th, 2018 after an 18 year battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Oshkosh on June 10th, 1937 to the late Emil and Amelia (Lautenschlager) Kaltenbach. She moved to Omro when she was 6 years old and graduated from Omro High School in 1955.
She moved to Oshkosh and began working at Oshkosh B’Gosh where she met the love of her life, Dennis Kinderman. They were married on July 13th, 1957 and were married for 60 years. Shortly after that she started part-time seasonal work at Miles Kimball Co. She went full time in 1978 and retired in 2001. She was a strong Christian woman who served the Lord by helping others.
She loved to garden and had the most beautiful flowers all around the house, play cards with the neighborhood gang, liked to bowl, take walks, and bike riding, and loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.
She took her last breath and “crossed over the bidge” with her husband and 2 daughters by her side holding her hands. Joan is survived by her loving husband Dennis, 1 son Larry Kinderman, 2 daughters Kathy Kinderman-Slife (Terry Slife) and Diane (Ross) Gronowski, 4 Grandsons Zachary (Carly) Kinderman, Ryan Gronowski, Derrick and Hunter Kinderman. We would like to say a very special thank you to her home caregivers who took care of her and loved her and our dad at this most difficult time… Crystal, Kim, Sarah, and Dawn. You girls are our angels.
