JoAnn R. Pommerening's Obituary
JoAnn Pommerening, age 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 18, 2023. She was born in Oshkosh on December 30, 1931 to the late Harvey and Rose (Pawlowski) Roebke.
JoAnn married Dennis G. Pommerening on August 8, 1950 in North Carolina, they were married for 57 years, until his death in 2008.
She is survived by her three children; David (Marge) Pommerening, Paul Pommerening and Carol (Gilbert) Garza, four grandchildren; Michael (Ammanda) Garza, Michelle (Jeremy) Huser, Kevin (Ashley) Garza, Dennis (Jessica) Pommerening. JoAnn is further survived by 8 great-grandchildren; Talan, Savanna, Nicholas, Angelique, Madelynn, Angelica, Mason, Brynlee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Harvey and Rose Roebke, husband; Dennis and two great-grandsons; Damion and Jerry Allen.
Funeral services for JoAnn will be held on Friday February 24, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Poklasny Funeral Home, 870 W. South Park Ave in Oshkosh. A time of visitation and support will be held for the Pommerening Family at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
