JOEL ZENTNER's Obituary
Joel M. Zentner Joel Michael Zentner, aged 55, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 5, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. Joel was born on Jan. 19’th, 1960, one of two children and the only son of Donald and LaDonne (Donna) Zentner. He attended Oshkosh schools, served in the U.S. Air Force and was a machinist at various companies. Golf was his true passion and the hole in one on #15 at Lake Breeze Golf Club was one of the happiest days of his life. Joel is survived by his long-time girlfriend, Sara Barndt; mother LaDonne (Donna) Zentner; sister Jeanne (Mike) Johnson, North Carolina; Nieces and nephews Tyler (Emily) Johnson (Leif and Neil), North Carolina; Hal (Kristen) Johnson (Kloee, Jaxon and Braxton), North Carolina; Emily (Stu) Rowley (Hunter), Idaho; Aunts and Uncles William (Muriel) Zentner, Madison; Walter (Doris) Zentner, Florida; Doris Pasono, Oshkosh; Jack George (Nancy) Meyer, Florida; many cousins and numerous friends. Joel was preceded in death by his father, Donald Zentner. Per Joel’s wishes there will be a private service at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 12'th at Poklasny Funeral Home, 870 W South Park Ave in Oshkosh. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. Thank you to the caring staff at Aurora Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, as well as, the nurses of Aurora Hospice at home.
