John F. "Jack" Skoglind's Obituary
John F. "Jack" Skoglind, 83 of Oshkosh died Friday, September 21, 2012 at his home. He was born September 23, 1928 in Green Bay the son of Rueben and Margaret Skoglind. He married Nancy Maes on October 1, 1949 in Green Bay. Jack was the advertising manager at the Oshkosh Northwestern for 42 years. He enjoyed singing with the Barbershoppers, golfing, winter vacations in Florida and Alabama and time with his family. He is survived by his wife Nancy, four sons, Michael (Diane) of Oshkosh, Jeffrey (Patt Molano) of Scottsdale AZ; John (Barbara) of Waupaca, David (Rhonda) of Mequon and Amy Skoglind of Oshkosh. Jack is also survived by his grandchildren, Tom (Karina), Paul, Nick, (Nicole), Allison, Jennifer, Marisa, Christina and Elizabeth Skoglind, Kristin (Mark) Beauchamp, Tara (Brad Berger)and Justin McCarthy, Jacqueline Dlugolenski, Shanna (Richard Osterson) Korinick and Benjamin (Alyssa) Korinick and 11 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his two sisters, June (Jim) Gillis and Elaine Simonet of Green Bay. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Doris, brother-in-laws, Bill Shimek and Jack Simonet. At Jack's request, private family services will be held in the Fiss and Bills Poklasny Funeral home, the Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
