John Henry Noe's Obituary
John Henry Noe, of Oshkosh, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 2, 2023. He was born in Oshkosh on January 26, 1949 the second child of Weddlin and Laurel (McAllister) Noe. He attended Webster Stanley and Merrill grade schools. John graduated from West High School and from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. John used his education teaching at Hortonville High School as an Art teacher for 31 years. He married Shirley Jean Cloughley on October 30, 1971 and they had four children; John Paul, Brandon James, Ryan Michael Noe; a daughter, Ashley Jean (Matthew) Hoff. He is further survived by four grandchildren, Brayden and Kinley Noe; Mason and Samantha Hoff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Michael Noe and sisters, Katherine Nemeth and Barbara Miller.
To keep busy John loved to play cards and do crafts, paintings and stickers. When younger he greatly enjoyed swimming and other water sports at the family cabin. It was John's wish to not have a funeral, so a small family visitation was held on November 5th at the Fiss and Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
