Oh Pat & family. I am so very sorry to see this 😢 I will miss his visits at work. Prayers to you all.
Memories are flashing daily of John, Sue Ann, Bruce and parents Bud & Vee. Early days on 12th St., and in Winneconne. More than a few Paulick birthdays, Christenings, and the holidays led to a tight crowd of cousins.
Fortunately when John’s parents bought the Prospect home I was old enough to bike beyond the river. Soon it was AM radio in the driveway, teen angst on Paula’s porch, “Dahl”games in the street with Fox and Jerry, pool at Grundy’s and juke box with pizzas at Louarti’s. Beyond heavenly days there was Leo’s Speedway and rows of Paulick fans.
Of course teen jobs, girls and driver’s licenses expanded horizons. Still I was fortunate to spend time with John for years in the National Guard, join some sheepshead games, witness his softball powers and know his bachelor tribe and watch the kids grow at Sunset elementary.
All good people and good humor. John gave as good as he got. We’ll all have to be friendlier, kinder and funnier to make up for this loss.
My favorite cousin, a killer smile and a Lefty too. I’m sorrowful, but knowing I was blessed with his friendship. Please support Pat, Ty and Bree at every opportunity.

I am so sorry to hear about Johnny. I know most know him as John but he has been Johnny to me as we grew up through the years. Although we didn't keep in contact much as we became adults, I have a lot of memories both while growing up in Winneconne and Oshkosh. My thoughts go out to Johnny's family. John walked into the Trinity Episcopal Food Pantry back in 2008 and asked, "Need some help?" We certainly did, and in a few short months with his help, we got ready to transition to the Oshkosh Area Food Pantry located in the former Copps building on Jackson St. If anything needed to be done, John would do it, whether it be picking up food in Omro, working with the postal service food drives, shopping for food specials at Aldi or breaking in new volunteers. His laugh was infectious, and his sense of humor memorable. He worked tirelessly and wouldn't take a penny for his efforts. Through his efforts he has made a huge difference in the lives of many residents of Winnebago County. He wiil truly be missed. Heartfelt condolences to Pat and his family and friends. Hats off to you, Lefty.
So sorry to hear this news. John always treated Bree’s friends like family. Thinking of Bree, Ty and Pat during this difficult time.

John was a household name back in the early Gibson days, and then I discovered he was our UPS driver when I worked over in Ripon.
He was among the nicest people I’ve ever met… 🙏
I worked with John many years at UPS. He was always upbeat and a pleasure to be around. He will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to the Paulick Family. Rest in peace my friend.
Although I’m very sad at my buddy John’s passing I am also very grateful for the memories of this wonderful and caring man. I was 18 years old when I met John while working together at UPS in Appleton. We quickly became best friends. Played lots of cribbage games and once and awhile he would even let me win. Soon after we were living near each other in Oshkosh. Deb and I had so many wonderful times with John and Pat. Card games, cookouts, cottage time and winter getaways. We then both had two children and they got along so well. What a joy watching them play together. John made everyone welcome and so loved Pat, Ty and Breanna. Thanks for the memories buddy! Rest In Peace…You earned it!
I was blessed to have the opportunity to work with John at UPS as a fellow driver. John was one of my biggest mentors at the start of my career. He showed me the tricks of the trade and was always so upbeat and positive. One of my best memories of John was helping him get his UPS truck unstuck after he had been shoveling snow for 2 hours. I will miss you, my Union Brother. This world will be lost without you but heaven is now a better place. My deepest condolences and sympathy to the family.
Sending our condolences from the OHS class of 1970.
