Jordis "Jordy" Brickham's Obituary
Jordis J. "Jordy" Brickham, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on January 29, 1954 a daughter of the late Russell Ward and Mae Opal (Moon) Brickham. Jordy greatly enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, shopping and most of all spending time with her family, many friends and her dearly loved pets. She will long be remembered for being compassionate, giving, accepting, loving and as a second Mom to many. She was loved by everyone and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In Jordy's passing she was still able to help others by being an organ and tissue donor.
Survivors include her two beloved daughters, Meghan Elizabeth (25), and Samantha Jean (23), both of Oshkosh; two brothers, Mark Brickham of Winneconne and Brooks Brickham of Oshkosh; a sister, Felicia Jacobson of DePere. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many very dear friends.
There will be no formal funeral services. A time of visitation and support will be held for the the Brickham family to remember and celebrate her life at the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home at 865 S. Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 4p.m. until 7p.m. In lieu of floral expressions, a memorial fund will be established in her name.
