Joseph L. Muraski's Obituary
Joseph L. Muraski, age 78 of Oshkosh died peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Bella Vista in Oshkosh. Joe was born in Appleton, WI the son of the late Peter and Rose (Binder) Muraski.
Joe enjoyed traveling with his mother on many trips, Hawaii, Niagara Falls and Rome to name a few. A very special year included a Christmas spent in Innsbruck, Austria and New Years in London. He enjoyed bowling, dart ball, reading, playing cards and bingo. He enjoyed walking around the city in his younger days and meeting people . He worked at various jobs including Mercy Hospital, Oshkosh by Gosh, YMCA and UW Oshkosh food service. He was a member of Saint Jude parish where he served as an usher and a very active Forth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus participating in many memorial day parades and helping out in anyway that he could with the Knights. He also volunteered at the Oshkosh Senior Center and Father Carr’s. Joe enjoyed his independence but he would like to thank all who helped him throughout his lifetime. He is survived by many cousins and his Knights of Columbus family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 11 am at St. Jude Parish (St. Vincent Church). Father Louis Golamari will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of Mass. He would like to thank the staff at Omro Care Center during his stay there before coming to Bella Vista. He would like, especially to thank Lori Dewitz, and all the staff and residents of Bella Vista who made his stay there happy and enjoyable over the last two years.
