Joseph Salm Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph William Salm, Jr, age 66, of Oshkosh passed away on Thursday evening January 30, 2014 at Aurora Medical Center. Joseph was born in Oshkosh on July 10, 1947 the son of Joseph and Katherine (Reynolds) Salm, Sr. Joe was employed at the Leach Company in Oshkosh for many years. Joseph is survived by his son; Brian (Patricia) Salm of Oshkosh. Two daughters; Karen (Ronald) Zwicky and Paula (Richard) Ewens both of Oshkosh and his mother; Katherine Salm of Oshkosh. Joseph's brothers; Gerald Salm of Oshkosh; Richard (Gail) Salm of Madison; William Salm of Oshkosh; Stephen (Jill) Salm of Eau Claire and Robert (Susan) Salm of Oshkosh. Joseph's sisters; Kathleen (William) Ramsay of Oshkosh; Joan (Brian) Frank of Oshkosh; Theresa (Calvin) Potratz of Oshkosh and Sharon (Randy) Bruckschen of Howards Grove, WI. Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Salm, Sr and two brothers; Dennis and John Salm. Memorial services will be held on Monday February 3, 2014 at 5:30pm at the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home 865 S. Westhaven Drive. Oshkosh, WI 54904. Father William Van De Kreeke will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 3pm until the time of service. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund in Joe's name will be established. Joe's family would like to thank both Dr. Ammar Alzoubi and Dr. Steven Wilson and the entire ICU staff at Aurora Medical Center for the wonderful care given to Joe.
