JOSEPH TOSHNER's Obituary
Joseph R Toshner, wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, died Wednesday September 20, 2017 at Webster Manor in Omro. He was born in Oshkosh on April 3, 1918 the son of the late Joseph and Petronella Kohler Toshner. Joseph married Hanna Schick on March 30, 1940. She preceded him in death on January 16, 2001. Until the time of his retirement in 1981 he was employed at Morgan Door Co. in Oshkosh as a Foreman. He loved bowling, golfing, and was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh.
Joseph is survived by one son; James (Bonnie) Toshner, of Sussex WI., one daughter; Joan Beck, Omro, five grandchildren; Tracy (Vinny) Galione, James (Geri) Toshner, Anne (Marko) Toshner, Paul Toshner, Sarah (Joel) Toshner, and one brother; Harold Toshner, Oshkosh. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister Margaret (John) Kammerling and one sister-in-law; Florence Toshner.
Funeral services for Joseph will be held in the Poklasny Funeral Home (870 West South Park) on Sunday October 1, at 2:00 PM with the Rev. William Van deKreeke officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the hour of services.
