Joyce L. Ratchman's Obituary
Joyce L. Ratchman, age 74 of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 19, 2009. On March 3, 1934 she was born in Oshkosh, the daughter of John and Clara (Lemberger) Kloiber. Joyce was a lifelong member of St. John's Catholic Church. Joyce loved the outdoors and enjoyed walking, reading, gardening and spending time with her family. On July 23, 1955 she married Robert Ratchman in Oshkosh.
Her memory will be cherished by her husband: Robert; her children: Mark (Debbie) Ratchman, Terri (Terry) Schmitz, Kim (Luke) Mittelstaedt, Karen (Scott) Marx and Shelly (Mark) Horel; her grandchildren: Carrie, Mandy, Kristy, Jamie, Seth, Matt, Danielle and Shannon; her great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Jordan and Joey; her sisters: Jean Poeschl and Delores Mathe, and her sisters-in-law: Beverly (Pete) Pistohl and Gerry Hill. Also surviving are numerous friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother: John Kloiber, one sister: June Pechman and her in-laws: Frank and Beatrice Ratchman.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in Fiss & Bills Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive, with Rev. Fr. William Van De Kreeke officiating. Friends may greet the family from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
