Judith Dunn's Obituary
Judith "Judy" A. Dunn, age 64 of Oshkosh, passed away at her home with her family at her side on Saturday, February 28, 2009. She was born on January 12, 1945 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late James and Leona (Finch) Smith. She married Patrick Dunn on August 17, 1963 in Oshkosh. Judy had owned and operated the former Dinos Restaurant and loved playing card games with any child. She touched everyone she met with her angel like smile and love. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Patrick of 45 years; three sons, Robert (Catherine) of Oshkosh, Patrick (Maneseh) of Appleton and Christopher of Milwaukee; a daughter, Annette (Paul) Resop of Oshkosh; a brother, James (Jean) Smith of Oshkosh; two sisters, Jeanette (Kenneth) Pochjka of Oshkosh and Joan (Gary) Wesenberg of Two Rivers; ten grandchildren, Joshua, Katheryn, Bradley, Chloe, Wesley, Zachary, Brett, Dallin, Elrik and Wyatt; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many very dear friends.
A service to celebrate Judy's life will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. in St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 1100 E. Murdock Ave. in Oshkosh, with the Reverend Karen Jewel officiating. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh. A time of visitation and support for the Dunn family will be held at the church on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund is being established. The family wishes to thank Joanne and Dave Fogtman, Mary Kay and Paul Jennerjohn, the Affinity Hospice, Raymond Edelstein, Dr. Albert Fisher, Dr. Karen Gremminger and Dr. Oyedijo for the love and care that was extended to Judy and her family during this difficult time.
