Judith A. Heun's Obituary
Judith Ann (Judy) Heun, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at her home in Appleton, WI. She was born September 2, 1937, in Milwaukee, to Clement and Claire Robinson. Judy attended Mother of Good Counsel grade school, Pius Xl High School, and Mount Mary College.
On September 14, 1963, she was united in marriage to Robert J. (Bob) Heun at Mother of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Judy enjoyed knitting, gardening, cooking, Jeopardy, crossword puzzles, and creating customized birthday cards for her family. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Oshkosh, WI and volunteered knitting prayer shawls for parishioners in need.
Judy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bob; her daughters, Carrie (Scott) Stewart; Suzy (Pete) Greeninger; sons, Andy (Paula) Heun; Pat (Jenni Olson) Heun; grandchildren, Chloe (Stetson Thompson) Stewart, and Gillian Stewart; Maggie (Mitch) Weber, Josie (Klayton) Krantz, Douglas and Molly Greeninger; Brandon Heun, Mackenzie (Myles Wendland) Heun; Ainsley Heun; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Evelynn, Lucas, Hudson, Mallory, Augie, and Genevieve due in March. She is also survived by her brother Dan (Joy) Robinson of Dousman, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Mary R. (Pete) Hoffman; brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Gail) Robinson.
Judy’s family would like to thank the Ascension At Home team as well as the ThedaCare Hospice team- specifically Amber, Ben, Erika, and volunteer, Laurie. Your compassion and guidance was invaluable. Judy’s humor and shenanigans will be greatly missed. In her own words, “I had a LOT of fun!”
A Memorial Mass for Judy will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Raphael Catholic Church (830 S Westhaven Dr, Oshkosh). Father Tom Long will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of Mass.
