Judith "Judy" Marie Kiesow's Obituary
Judith M. “Judy” Kiesow, age 75, of Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, November 20, 2023. She was born on April 5, 1948 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late Raymond and Ann Ostertag. Judy married David E. Kiesow on April 26, 1969 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Dave preceded her in death on October 26, 2011. Judy was a longtime member of St. Jude Parish and was active and helped with the Friday dart ball league. She enjoyed time spent with her friends on trips to Onieda. Judy also greatly enjoyed helping her grandchildren prepare for county fair. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by two sons, David “Butch” (Chris) and Kevin (Amanda) Kiesow, both of Oshkosh; a brother, Raymond (Annette) Ostertag of Waunakee; a sister, Carol Ostertag of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Alex, Brady, Madison and Zachary Kiesow; two step-granddaughters, Morgan Struck and Katie Miller and step-grandchildren, Braiden Struck and Jasmine Lohry. She is further survived by sister-in-laws, Carol Horejs and Pat Ostertag and dear friends, Sue Knobloch, Lois Menzel and Joan Wetteral. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Ostertag.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Judy on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, corner of 6th and Knapp Streets in Oshkosh with the Rev. Louis Golamari as celebrant. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of Mass.
