Julie Ann Terrace's Obituary
Julie Ann Terrace was born to eternal life on January 21, 2017. She was born on July 6, 1963 to Richard and June Wegner. On May 16, 1987, she made Thomas J. Terrace a very happy person when thy were united together in marriage. Julie was a full time WI Army National Guard service member with the 1157th Transportation Company serving 23 1/2 years. She served in Saudi Arabia and Iraq in the first Gulf War, and was activated stateside for 11 months in 2002-2003. If you ever knew her, she was always first to lend a hand, whatever the situation would be and deeply cared in helping others. Julie also was a friend to animal rescue. In our 32 1/2 years of being together, we have had 12 dogs and 4 cats and all were loved dearly.
Julie is survived by and her memory will be cherished by her husband Tom, sisters Lynn (Dan) Kromm, Omro, Sue (Floyd) Brehmer, Oshkosh, Dawn (Darrel) Kortbein, Oshkosh, Mary Gray, Oshkosh, Debbie Wegner, Omro, Ann (special friend, Darin Fleck) Wegner, Oshkosh,and a brother Roger Wegner, Oshkosh, and nieces and nephews. Also furry dogs Nell, Sage and Zeus (Momma's boy). She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Gilbert "Gib" Wegner, Oshkosh. She was also preceded in death by her loving, furry dogs Chelsi, Major, Bunker (a dog she rescued while in Iraq) Kita, Lady (Boo Boo), Squirt, Zeke, Baylee and Katie. Kitties, Mandy, Mittens, Ashley and Force.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. at the Omro Community Center, 130 W. Larabee Street in Omro. Per her wishes, casual attire is preferred. Jeans will be great!! In lieu of floral expressions, memorials in her name may be made to an animal rescue of your choice. Until we are together again, Love you Poops!!! Pooh.
