Karen Keller's Obituary
Karen Ann Keller entered into eternal life for some much needed rest and peace on May 16, 2012 at the Bethel Nursing Home in Oshkosh where she resided for the past 2 1/2 months. Karen was born October 27, 1948 to Rosemary (Brisbane) and Oliver Keller in Fond du Lac, WI. Karen graduated from Berlin High School in 1967 and later moved to Oshkosh where she resided until the time of her passing. She also attended UWO. Karen was very involved in The Winnebago Housing Authorities. Recently she was presented an award for all her years as an outstanding Board of Director and Commissioner for all her hard work and dedication to the Housing Authority. Karen was a secretary for the Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary for many years. Karen was a very loving person and touched all the lives she met, gave so much of herself and never asked for much in return. Karen spent most of her life battling Crohns Disease and never complained. Karen is survived by her mother "her rock", Rosemary Brisbane of Oshkosh, one brother, Kevin Keller of Mohnton, PA, one nephew Nick (fiancee Nicole) Keller of Neenah, one niece, Rosemary Keller of Mohnton, PA. Karen is also survived by loving cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Oliver Keller, Aunts, Uncles, and her most precious pride and joy her kitty of many years, Latifah. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at 1:30pm at the Bethel Home Chapel in Oshkosh. Father Matt Simonar will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held at the chapel on Tuesday from 12noon until the time of Mass. Karen's family would like to thank the Bethel Nursing Home staff for their outstanding care and also the Marshfield Clinic for the many years of excellent care.
