Kathaleen A. "Babe" Brennand Zimmerman's Obituary
Kathaleen A. (Brennand) Zimmerman, age 60, of Butte des Morts, passed away unexpectedly at Mercy Medical Center early Sunday morning, April 14, 2013 after suffering a massive heart attack. She was born on April 3, 1953 the daughter of George and Kathaleen A. (Gafney) Brennand. To family and friends she was called Kathy or "Babe". She was a graduate of Lourdes High School and Fox Valley Technical College. She was employed at Miles Kimball Company for 38 years. Kathy loved to go sturgeon spearing with her Dad, family and friends. On April 18, 1998 she was married to Price G. Zimmerman Jr. at St. John Catholic Church where she was a life time member.
She is survived by her husband, Price; her mother, Kathaleen A. Brennand, of Oshkosh; two sisters, Mary Wegener of Waukesha and Eileen Brennand of Oshkosh; two brothers, Michael (Teri) and Patrick Brennand, both of Oshkosh; two sister-in-laws, Deborah (Daniel) Leep of Mequon and Ellen Brennand of Oshkosh; nieces, Sara (Jon) Mueller and Rhea Brennand; nephews, Scott and Joshua Brennand; niece, Andrea Leep and nephew, Nick Leep; her aunt Mary Grace (Gerrie) Vogt and her uncle, Bill Brennand; her mother-in-law, Virginia Zimmerman; other relatives and many very dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, George Brennand; her brother, Tom; a nephew, Lee Brennand; her father-in-law, Price G. Zimmerman Sr. and a brother-in-law, Michael Diener.
Funeral services for Kathy will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Poklasny Funeral Home, 870 W. South Park Ave. in Oshkosh, with the Rev. Fr. William Van DeKreeke officiating. A time of visitation and support will be held for the family at the funeral home on Wednesday begining at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Catholic Cemetery. A memorial fund will be established.
