Katharine Troutman Day, Kitty Day, is my Aunt Kiki! I was named after her by my mother Mary Ellen. Although it has been many years since I saw her last, through all the in-between years, she and I corresponded via the good old USPS and occasional phone calls. More recently and with the assistance of technology, we kept in touch via email messages. I will keep the memories of the stories & and advice she shared with me along the way, including my early years in Sausalito, CA, the Christmas parties, dinner gatherings with all the “grown-ups”, swimming pool time, along with countless other memories. Today my mother and I remember Kiki and share a giggle over their inside jokes through the years including their joy of music with singing along to Broadway Showtunes. I am so grateful to be named after her and that we share the unique spelling!
