Kathy A. Kriha's Obituary
Kathy Ann Kriha, age 56 of Oshkosh, passed away Friday morning, November 13, 2009 in Oshkosh. She was born in Oshkosh on August 4, 1953, the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Lisbeth) Drexler. Kathy once worked for Wisconsin National Life Insurance Company. She loved dancing, shopping, going to the cabin in Park Falls, judging chili cook offs, going to Country USA with her sister, boating, card making with friends, listening to live music with her daughters, and vacationing with her husband. She truly loved spending her time with family and friends, and had an abundance of generosity for helping others. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Omro. On October 13, 1979 she married Stephen "Steve" Kriha in Oshkosh. He survives along with their two daughters: Sarah (Mark Martin) Kriha and Stephanie Kriha; her father: Robert Drexler; her brother: Michael (Laurie Gossens) Drexler; her sister: Christine (Garth Seiler) Drexler; her father-in-law: Henry "Hank" Kriha; her sister-in-law: Marla (David) Sutherland; her nieces: Tracey (Michael) Brophy and Paula (Bruce) Betzold; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved Booba (dog): "Riley." She was preceded in death by her Mother: Margaret Drexler and her Mother-In-Law: Adeline Kriha. Kathy will be deeply missed by all of her family and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 16, 2009 in Fiss & Bills funeral Home, 865 W. S. Westhaven Drive. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may greet the family on Sunday (TODAY) from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., and on Monday, November 15, 2009 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., in the funeral home.
