Kenneth Pochojka's Obituary
Kenneth S. Pochojka, age 74, of Oshkosh passed away on Sunday evening October 28, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI. He was born in Oshkosh on April 9, 1938 the son of Victor and Olga (Boettge) Pochojka. He married Jeanette Smith at St. Vincent's Catholic Church on June 23, 1962. He was a faithful member of St. Jude Parish (St. Vincent Church) where he served as an usher and lector. Ken was employed as an accountant at Appleton Papers and retired from Appleton Coating in 1999. Ken was an avid sportsman, he loved playing baseball and recently golfing. Ken loved spending time at his 2nd home in Daytona Beach, FL. He is survived by his wife: Jeanette Pochojka and two sons: Mark and Scott Pochojka all of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday November 1, 2012 at 1pm at St. Jude Parish(St. Vincent Church) at 216 W. South Park Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54902. Father William Van De Kreeke will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 11am until the time of Mass. Private committal services will be held at Lake View Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Ken's name.
