Kerry Lyn Ristow's Obituary
Kerry Lyn Strasheim Ristow, age 41 of Oshkosh, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010 in her home after a lengthy illness. On October 12, 1968 she was born in Denver, the daughter of Larry Strasheim and Judith Davies Biglow. Kerry was a graduate of Oshkosh High School West and the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in nursing. She had been an OBGYN nurse at Meriter Hospital in Madison and Theda Clark in Neenah. Kerry enjoyed cooking, music, movies and nature.
Survivors include her parents: Judith (Bill) Biglow of Oshkosh and Larry (Sharee) Strasheim of Denver; her two brothers: Eric (Monica) Strasheim of Denver and Lee Strasheim of Toluca Lake, CA; her two sisters: Alexis Strasheim of Toluca Lake, CA and Erin Biglow of North Hollywood, CA; her step-brother: Allan (Dory) Biglow of Tampa, FL; her step-sister: Kirsten (Lynn) Love of Tampa, FL; her grandmother: Faye Davies of Beaumont, TX; her aunts and uncles: Janice Woosley of Lago Vista, TX; Jeanne Davies of Beaumont, TX; Kay (Tony) Nelli of Tampa; John (Karen) Strasheim and Wes (Kenlynn) Strasheim both of Denver; Gene (Betty) Strasheim of Colorado Springs, CO and Kathy (Jim) Disler of Ft. Collins, CO; one nephew: Alec Strasheim and one step-nephew: Dylan Love and one step-niece: Sophia Love; several cousins and her feline companions: "Oreo" and "Snickers." Her maternal grandfather, paternal grandparents, paternal step-grandparents, and an uncle and two aunts preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in Fiss & Bills Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive, with Rev. Fr. Steven Powers officiating.
