Kevin P. Andrasko MD's Obituary
Dr. Kevin Paul Andrasko, age 74, passed away on Friday, May 3rd, 2024 at Evergreen Nursing Home.
Dr. Andrasko was born in Oshkosh on March 17th, 1950 to parents Charles and Gladys Andrasko. He graduated with honors from Marquette University and then from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1978. He practiced medicine in both Milwaukee and Berlin before returning with his family to Oshkosh to open his own Internal Medicine practice. Later he joined Ascension Medical Group where he continued serving his patients and the community for many years. Dr. Andrasko was known to his colleagues, nurses and patients as a compassionate and caring physician, and he was also named as one of the best doctors in Oshkosh. It brought him a great sense of pride and fulfillment to take care of patients in the city where he was born and raised. Kevin's favorite pastimes included collecting oriental rugs and playing the guitar. He also loved traveling to Europe to visit the museums and other historical sites, and he had a wonderful appreciation for the arts and music.
He is survived by his two children Jane (Jeff) Ritter and John (Alexandria) Andrasko, two grandchildren, and three brothers, Bruce (Mary-Jo) Andrasko, Neil (Mary) Andrasko and Tom Andrasko.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 6:00 pm in the Fiss & Bils-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 3 pm until the time of service. In lieu of floral expressions, memorials in his name may be made to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
