Larry William Ebel's Obituary
Larry William Ebel, age 68, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Thursday, August 10, 2012. He was born on September 30, 1943 in Oshkosh, a son of Edwin Leo and Elizabeth Louise (Shields) Ebel. He married Judy Larsen on September 25, 1965. Judy preceded him in death on April 23, 2001. Larry married Sandy Warner on June 23, 2003. He had been a lifetime employee of the former PH Glatfelter Paper Company in Neenah, had volunteered for the EAA and Mercy Medical Center. He greatly enjoyed golfing, hunting, billiards and time spent with his family especially his granddaughters. His memory will be cherished by his wife, Sandy of Oshkosh; a daughter, Dawn (Christopher) Deringer of Oshkosh; granddaughters, Jennifer and Kimberly Deringer; step-son, John (Kelly) Conger and their children, Kaitlyn and Aidan. He is further survived by other relatives and many very dear friends, including; James (Donna) Warner, Vicky (John) Staehler, Sheri (Dale) Applebee, Vince (Cathy) Deringer, Brett (Brenda) Deringer, Matt (April) Deringer and Vicki Wenig. He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Judy Larsen Ebel and her parents, Art and Luella Larsen. A Memorial Mass will celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, August 14 , 2012 at 12noon in Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Peter Catholc Church, 435 High Avenue in Oshkosh. The Rev. James Jugenheimer as celebrant. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. A memorial fund will be estblished. The family would like to acknowledge and thank Mickie for her love and support during Larry's illness along with the staff at Aurora Medical Center and the Wound Care Unit.
