Laverne G. Stang's Obituary
Oshkosh – Laverne Stang (91) passed away January 23rd, 2021 at his home with family by his side. Reuniting with his beloved wife Betty. He was born in Oshkosh, WI Oct. 1, 1929 to John and Marie Stang. Married to Betty Meyer July 5th, 1951.
He was proud to say he served in the military service in the Army Division in the Korean war. His father served in World War 1, his brothers Mike and Dick served in World War 11. He worked at Rockwell International for 45 years.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing and the Packers.
Was preceded in death by his wife Betty, his parents, sister Lila (Cliff) Spalding, brother Dick (Lily) Stang, and brother Mike (Ruth) Stang.
Survivors include children: Russ (Kathy) Stang, Debra (Jeff) Erspamer and Sandy Stang. Grand-children, Russ Stang Jr., Toby Erspamer, Jennifer (Steve) Dewhurst, and Tabitha (Michelle Kirkland) Erspamer. Great grand-children: McKaylyn, Megan, Ronin, Gavin, Collin, and Gage. Many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held with burial at Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery.
