Leonard C. Gosz's Obituary
Leonard Charles Gosz, age 78 of Oshkosh, passed away Thursday morning, March 5, 2009 in the Northpoint Medical & Rehab. Center in Oshkosh. On August 13, 1930 he was born in Menasha, the son of Anthony and Marie (Mishilifski) Gosz. He owned and operated Diana and Len's Charcoal Grill in Menasha and for over 30 years he was a bartender at the Broadway Tavern. Duck hunting was one of his hobbies and being an artist, he loved art.
Survivors include his daughter: Sue Gosz; a friend: Jen Mularkey; his Godson: Doug (Tina Krause) Peterson; his brother: Richard all of Oshkosh; his two sisters: Hildegard Hoerning of Menasha, Marion (Vince) Vissers of Wild Rose; numerous nieces and nephews; his canine companion: "Harley;" his feline companions: "L.G." "Shane" and "Lilly."
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2009 in the Poklasny Funeral Home, 870 W. South Park Ave, Oshkosh, with Rev. Fr. Joseph Mattern officiating.
