Lisa M. Bednarz, age 54, passed away peacefully Monday evening Feb 22, 2021, at Seasons Hospice in Oak Creek, WI
Lisa was born June 25, 1966 at Theda Clark Hospital, Neenah, WI. Lisa grew up in Oshkosh and graduated Oshkosh West in 1984
In 2005 she moved down to Milwaukee, and the last 4 years she enjoyed working at Meijer in Wauwatosa in the Deli. Then ALS struck and ended her career. She fought a long hard battle with this terrible disease.
Lisa loved to read, watch TV, and warm, sunny days. She also loved cats and miniature pigs.
She is survived by her parents, Jim and Kris Berger, Oshkosh, her brother Jason Berger and her daughter Rebecca Bednarz of Milwaukee. Her Aunt Debbie and Uncle Jack, who loved her dearly, and Uncle Gary and Aunt Darlene in California.
Lisa was preceded in death by her Grandma June and Grandpa Joe, Grandma Dorothy and Grandpa Frank. Also her ex-husband Bryan Bednarz.
The family would like to thank Seasons Hospice for taking such wonderful care of her and never leaving her side. We also want to thank her ALS team at Froedtert Hospital for helping her thru this disease.
Cremation has taken place. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
