Lois Ann Angle's Obituary
Lois Ann Angle (nee Nelson) entered eternal peace on Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 at her home. Lois was born June 15th, 1925 to Eunice and Harold Nelson in Waupaca, WI. After graduating high school in Oshkosh, WI she went on to graduate from Mercy School of Nursing. Retiring after 35 years of nursing at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, she enjoyed a long retirement of knitting, crocheting, reading, gardening, and playing Gin Rummy. Lois volunteered with EAA's Operation Thirst each summer for 32 years making lasting friends from around the world. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 1908. Lois was always willing to help someone in need.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Eunice and Harold Nelson; and grandsons, Robert Gutzman, Danny Augsburger, and Brady Angle.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Mike) Mears of Poy Sippi; son, Gifford (Nita) Angle of Omro; daughter, Christine (Ron) Gutzman of Wild Rose; son, Robin (Janet) Angle of Mooresville, NC; daughter, Joanne (Marty) Augsburger of Winneconne; daughter, Cynthia Angle of Omro; and sister, Ellen Dahl of Wisconsin Rapids. She is further survived by 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home at 865 South Westhaven Drive Oshkosh, WI 54904 on Tuesday, February 13th, 2018 from 4 pm until 7 pm. A private burial will occur at a later date.
