Lois Lou Hyler's Obituary
Lois Lou Hyler (LeBeck), 77, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully Thursday January 3, 2019 at Aurora Hospital in Oshkosh. Lois was born in Oshkosh on October 5, 1941, the daughter of John and Emma Lebeck. She attended Merrill School and St. Peter's in Oshkosh. Lois was joined in marriage to Kenneth G. Hyler Sr in 1967 in Oshkosh. They resided in Omro and eventually moved to Oshkosh.
Lois was a simple woman. She was a stay at home mother. She enjoyed riding her bike up until she couldn't ride it anymore. Lois enjoyed rummage sales and shopping all year round for Christmas for her family. Her faith was strong. The most important thing to her was her extra, extra large family. She loved every one of them unconditionally, and her family was her whole world.
Lois is survived by her 7 boys: Robin (Linda) Boegh, Jeff (Tammy) Boegh, Dave (Beth) Boegh, Paul (Kristine) Boegh, Kevin Hyler, Steve (Dawn) Hyler, and Brian (Sarah) Hyler; 4 stepchildren : Kathy (Jim) Beck, John Nigl, Nancy Hyler, and Mark (Connie) Hyler. She is survived by her brother, Roland (Joni) LeBeck. Lois is survived by over 60 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Kenneth Hyler Sr; 6 siblings: Robert, Clifford, Gladyce, John, Audrey and Jerry; stepdaughter: Karen Nigl and stepson: Kenneth Hyler Jr; special nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Lois will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 7, 2019 in Most Blessed Sacrament (St. Peter’s Catholic Church) at 449 High Ave Oshkosh, WI 54901. Rev. Jerome Pastors will be officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass on Monday in the church. Cremation has taken place.
