Lois Marie Kolb's Obituary
Lois Marie Fuller, age 95, of Oshkosh. Passed away peacefully on June 19, 2021. Lois was born on October 13, 1925 in Oshkosh, the daughter of the late Carroll and Hazel (Cunningham) Fuller. She married Michael Kolb on June 17, 1944 in Oshkosh. She was the bookkeeper for Kolb’s Garage and Towing Service until she retired. Lois was a charter member of Pickett Gas and Steam Engine Club and a charter member of Rural Exchange Homemakers Club. She was a Leader for both Cub Scouts and Campfire Girls and was known as “Ma Kolb” to more than just her own children. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, rummage sailing, needlework and quilting. She made countless quilt tops for charity. Lois and Mike loved to dance, attend thresherees with their miniature Oil Pull tractor and Thrashing machine, weekend snowmobile trail riding, and traveling throughout the United States.
Lois is survived by and her memory will be cherished by 3 sons, Michael “Jim” (Barbara) Kolb of Omro, Ronald (Pam) Kolb of Waupaca, and Wayne (Lori) Kolb of Fond du lac. Two daughters, Donna Perkins of Oshkosh and Linda (Gary) De Bruin of Appleton. 10 grandchildren, Michelle (Rick) Eggers, Larry Steinert, Deborah (Jerry) Janz, Beth (Ron) Will, Jenny (Dave) Kolb, Emily (Kevin Rabbers) Kolb, Jamie (Mike) Formiller, Rory (Amber) Sowers, Erik (Amanda) Johnson, Andrea (Matthew) Peebles. 16 great grandchildren, Michael (Crystal) Brown, Christopher, and Samantha Brown, Brian (Tonya) Will, Jessica (Michael) Will, Jason (Kendra) Will, Courtney Freeman, Kayla (Ben) Freeman, Zachary Miller, Malaki and Maxton Sowers, Marissa Garrity, Carter, Everett, and Allison Johnson and Ezra Peebles. 10 great great grandchildren, George and Ami Brown, Addison, Bryson, and Carmelo Freeman, Elijah Will, Courtney Fritz, Isla Perez, Tatum and Baker Schinke . Her sister Eunice Wendt of Loveland, CO, 3 brothers, Wilbur Fuller and Wesley Fuller of Oshkosh, Richard (Muriel) Fuller of Sebring FL. , many nieces and nephews and special friend Jody Robl. She was preceded in death by 1 sister Margery Fuller, and 3 brothers, Elwin, Lee and John Fuller.
Funeral services for Lois will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 11 am in the Poklasny Funeral Home, 870 W. South Park Avenue in Oshkosh. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 9 am until the time of service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery.
