Loraine Darrington-Monday's Obituary
Loraine Darrington-Monday passed away on September 12th, 2014 at the age of 85. Loraine was the wife of William Monday who enjoyed 33 years of marriage. She was the mother of three daughters, all surviving, Lynn (Frank) Jarvenpaa, Lori (Paul) Thomas and Leah Nuetzel, from her late husband, William Darrington. She also left three step-daughters, Wendy Peterson, Kelly Monday and Ann (Kal) Althoff. Also surviving five grandchildren, Heidi (Walter) Goode of Oshkosh, Scott (Colleen) Thomas of Cottage Grove WI, Heather (Jason) Hardy of Winneconne, Shaina ( fiancé Gerry) Nuetzel of Menasha and Dakota (Kaitlin) Nuetzel of West Bend. Seven step grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one step great grandchild and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Agnes Jungwirth and her sister Shirly Jungwirth. Loraine was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Weslaco, TX. She was retired as a sales manager from Muza Metal products where she worked in the Leisure Living Division. Loraine was on the board of directors for the Leach Co. Credit Union and was a member of the Women's Bowling Association. Before moving to Texas, Loraine sang in the choir at Sacred Heart and St. John the Baptist churches for many years. She had many hobbies, to name a few, oil painting, swimming, volunteering at the John Knox Country Store, boating and entertaining friends and family. Loraine will be fondly remembered and missed. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart site, 1025 W. 5th ave, the Rev. Wm. VandeKreeke officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Church Saturday from 9am until the time of services
