Lorraine Rose Dahl's Obituary
Lorraine R. Dahl, age 87, of Berlin, formerly of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at her home. She was born on March 31, 1932 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late Joseph and Martha (Koehler) Privoznik. Lorraine married her High School sweetheart, Fred Charles Dahl Jr. on September 12, 1953 in St. John Catholic Church in Oshkosh. Lorraine was a talented seamstress and will be remembered for making clothes for her daughters. She also enjoyed quilting, knitting, crossword puzzles and scrabble. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by two sons, Tom (Mary) of Appleton and Jim of Oshkosh; three daughters, Mary (Keith) St. Louis of Minnesota, Christine (Michael Hutchings) Dahl of California and Lisa (Doug Bethke) Dahl of Neshkoro; a sister, Betty Caldwell of Amherst Junction; four grandchildren, Alex, Adam, Joel and Nathan Kado. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by brothers, Eddie and James and a sister, Dorothy.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Fiss Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive with Deacon John Ignala officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of service. In lieu of floral expressions, a memorial fund will be established.
