Louis Joseph Mueller Jr.'s Obituary
Louis Joseph Mueller Jr. of Oshkosh passed away at age 90 on March 6, 2018. He was born to the late Louis Joseph Mueller Sr. and Alice (Freeman) Mueller on January 3, 1928. He graduated from high school and a Veteran of the U.S. Army Lineman, a M.P. 2nd Sig Co. Fort Lewis Washington received victory medal. Louis married Dolores Therese Weber on June 7, 1946. They were married for almost 72 years and blessed with seven children. Louis worked at Oshkosh Trunk Co., Paine Lumber Co., and retired from Leach Co.
Louis is survived by his wife; Dolores Mueller, daughters; Lynda Schaffer (Jerry Fisher), Rhonda Gronowski (Ron), and Roxane Mueller (Paul Huebner), son; Randy Mueller (Sandra), grandchildren; Todd Schaffer (Jen), Staci Holm (Chris), Kirsten Mueller Delaurelle (Troy), Ryan Mueller, and Karrie Shuh (Josh), great grandchildren; Justin Schaffer, Ronnie Scales, Rodney Scales, Taylor, Garrett, and Nathan Schaffer, Brayden and Brevin Delaurelle, Francene and Maria Shuh, great great grandchildren Mauriana and J’Hauri, sister; Ionne Berndt.
In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by two siblings; Sylvia and Eugene Mueller, and three sons; Gary, Wayne, and Jay, granddaughter; Bobbi Lynn (Schaffer) Scales.
Louis loved going to Oakwood campsite, visiting his favorite watering holes, and retirement. Also his pets Boots and Callie.
We wish to extend our gratitude and appreciation to Affinity Visiting Nurses which aided in making our fathers wish possible and to his neighbors around him for their kindness.
A memorial service will be held for Louis on Wednesday March 28, 2018 at 12 pm at Lake View Memorial Park at 2786 Algoma Blvd Oshkosh, WI 54901. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11 am until the time of service at Lake View Memorial Park. Chaplain Nancy Twichell will be officiating
