Lucille Clausen's Obituary
Lucille Ann Clausen (Pollak), age 80, of Oshkosh passed away suddenly on Saturday May 18th.
Lucille was born June 3, 1932 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Wenzel and Helen Pollak.
She married the love of her life Donald E Clausen on July 11, 1959 at St. Vincent Catholic church in Oshkosh.
Lucille and Donald dairy farmed in Oshkosh until retirement in 1990. She also worked for a short time at Mondels and Godshell Manufacturing.
Lucille was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and great grandma and enjoyed every minute of her family. 30 years of dairy farming spilled over into a passion for her massive cow collection. Lucille had a passion for decorating for every season and holiday and loved to plant flowers to make everything beautiful. She looked forward to weekend Badger and Packer games, and she loved her chocolates.
Lucille is survived and deeply missed by her loving husband Donald, 3 children Mike (Stacy) Clausen, Cindy (Glenn) Hoops, and Pam (Mike) Meyer. 7 grandchildren, Dan Clausen, Heather (Rohin) Clausen, David (Melissa) Hoops, Christina (Peter) Briand, Douglass Hoops, Jessica Meyer, Lucas Meyer 7 Great grandchildren, Ali and Deven Clausen, Kenden and Kylynn Clausen, Brett, Jacob and Alayna Hoops, 1 sister Doris Panske and many nieces and nephews.
Lucille was proceeded in death by her parents, 10 brothers and sisters, Joe, Jack, Leo, Rudolph (Rod) , Richard (Rich), Victor (Vic), and Louie Pollak. Sisters Rose Coombs, Marie Grabl and Adele Pollak. Twin granddaughters Maggie May and Mindy Lou Hoops.
Visitation at Fiss & Bills – Poklasny Funeral home 865 S. Westhaven Drive, Oshkosh Tuesday May 21st from 4 – 6 p.m. with prayer service to follow. Visitation to continue at St. Jude the Apostle Parish (St. Vincent site) on Wednesday May 22nd from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend William VanDekreek officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Lucille’s name.
