Lucille E. Miller's Obituary
Lucille E. Miller, 89, of Oshkosh passed away on March 9, 2010 at the Harbor House in Oshkosh. She was born in Oshkosh on April 16, 1920 to William and Esther Westphal Juedes. She married George R. Miller on May 26, 1951 in Oshkosh. She was a graduate of Oshkosh High School and worked at Mondel's Shoe Factory until she started her family. Lucille loved to sew and quilt; create crafts with George; and was an avid bowler. She was a member of St. Vincent church. Lucille is survived by her six children, Beverly Garcia of Oshkosh, Diane Miller of Oshkosh, Jane Miller of Oshkosh, Linda (Douglas) Miller of Oshkosh, James (Karen) Miller of Sandy, UT, Paula (Daniel) Bartelt of Beaver Dam, WI. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren, Joseph (Lindsey) Pickart, Oshkosh, Jason Pickart, Oshkosh, Lindsey (Matthew) Mugerauer, Oshkosh, Carley Miller, Oshkosh, Mason Miller, Brown Deer, WI, Megan (Justin) Schueter, Appleton, WI, Brian (Crystal) Miller, Sandy,UT, Mathew Miller, Sandy, UT, Melissa (Creston) Gibson, Gig Harbor, Washington, Kari (Tyler) Malszycki, Appleton, WI, Kimberly Bartelt, Beaver Dam, WI. Five great grandchildren, Cress Gibson, Annabella Gibson, Connor Miller, Addison Hoekstra, Riley Mugerauer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George in 1995 and her brother William Juedes in 1941 at Pearl Harbor. Lucille's family wish to acknowledge and give thanks to the staff of the Harbor House who took excellent care of Mom during her 1 1/2 years of living there. Also, to the staff of Heartland Hospice, who provided great comfort and care to Mom and helping her family cope during this difficult time. Funeral services will be Friday March 12, 2010 at 6:00pm in the Fiss and Bills, Poklasny Funeral Home, the Rev. Thomas Reynebeau officiating. Entombment will be in Lake View memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home, Friday from 4pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
