Margaret Radig's Obituary
Margaret Louise Radig, age 85, of Oshkosh passed away on Wednesday evening September 5, 2012 at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. She was born on October 28, 1926 in Oshkosh, WI the daughter of Robert and Lidwina (Bingen) Westover. She married Norman Radig on October 5, 1946 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oshkosh. She was a faithful member of St. Jude Parish (Sacred Heart Catholic Church). After graduating from High School she was employed at the FBI fingerprinting office in Washington D.C. She was then employed at Wisconsin National Life Insurance then at Copps Department Store in Oshkosh. Margaret is survived by two sons: William (Lennette) Radig of Omro and Daniel Radig of Oshkosh. Three daughters: Judy Robinson, Lynn (Dean) Reichenberger and Mary Jo Radig all of Oshkosh. One sister: Rita Hoppe of Oshkosh. Four sisters-in-law: Virginia (Robert) Lawler, LaVerne (John) Reimer, Dorothy Radig and Margaret "Red" Westover. Six grandchildren: Dawn Robinson, Sarah Adkins, Mandy, Robbin, Will and Matthew Radig. One great granddaughter: Ella Adkins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman, three brothers: David, Gerald and Robert. One brother-in-law: Harold. Funeral Services will be held on Monday September 10, 2012 at 7pm at the Poklasny Funeral Home @ 870 W. South Park Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54902. Father Matt Simonar will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4pm until the time of service. Committal services will be held on Tuesday at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Margaret's name.
