Marian Langkau's Obituary
Marian Langkau, age 91, of Oshkosh, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the Bethel Home. She was born on April 16, 1918 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Kempinger) Womaski. She married Clifford Langkau on April 15, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1965. Marian was a Beautician and had worked at Lori's and New Image. She was also a long time member of St. John Catholic Church in Oshkosh and greatly enjoyed gardening and making cookies.
Her memory will be cherished by her son, Dale (Judy) Langkau of Oshkosh; a sister, Jane DeBusscherr of Menasha; three grandchildren, Patricia (Kevin) Komorowski and Gary (Sheila) Langkau, both of Oshkosh and Sandra Evans and special friend, Mary Renning of Appleton; great grandchildren, Bryan, Kristi, Matt and Allile; great-great grandchildren, Ava and Cooper. She is further survived by other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Marian will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 12noon at the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive with the Reverend Fr. William Van DeKreeke officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of floral expressions, a memorial fund will be established in her name. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Bethel Home for the excellent care that was given to Marian and her family.
