Marian Louise Snow's Obituary
Marian Louise Snow, 76, Born December 1st 1945- Passed peacefully November 21st 2022 surrounded by family, Oshkosh Wisconsin. Predeceased by her loving Mother Helen, father William Kryzaniak, and long-time partner Dennis Gibbs. Survived by her older Sister Doris McLane, nephew Robert McLane, William Snow Sr the father to her children Bill Snow Jr (Jaymie), Tina Snow, and her three grandchildren Bradley, Toria, and Austin Ogden.
Anyone who knew Marian from an early age knows she started working at the young age of 13 in her father’s store Bills Book & Fly shop and she carried her work ethics all through her life, taking the city bus to 4imprint where she worked and retired of 19 years, to care for her family. Marian faced many challenges in her life surviving breast cancer, the amputation of her left leg, and being diagnosed with dementia. All these obstacles she treated with grace and strength and never let it hinder her strive of healing. The simplest pleasures in life brought Marian great joy. She enjoyed wordsearches, game shows, her cats, playing bingo, and building puzzles. All the happiness she had in cooking a beautiful holiday meal for her family. Her quick wit and sassy sense of humor, is what made her truly unique and loved by all those who met her. Her greatest treasure in life was being a grandmother. Her love for her grandchildren is unmatched and everlasting. Marian will be deeply missed, but we will rejoice when we meet again.
Funeral services for Marian will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Poklasny Funeral Home, 870 W. South Park Avenue. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery.
