Marilyn Schuhart's Obituary
Marilyn Schuhart, 73, was peacefully called to heaven on October 21, 2016, with family by her side. She was the wife of Roger, they shared 54 years of marriage together. She took pride in being married to an avid golfer, and often joked that she was a ?golfer?s widow?.
Born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on December 23, 1942, she was the daughter of Frederick and Geraldine Stapel. She belonged to Zion Lutheran Church.
Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family. She shared the love of pizza and ice cream with her grandchildren. She spent much of her free time putting together jigsaw puzzles and coloring masterpieces that were adored by her loved ones. Marilyn will be remembered and cherished for her sassy wit, her soft-spoken and gentle character, and her patience with her beloved children and (great) grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Roger, sister Sharon (Gene) Stelter, daughter Laura (Charles) Reynolds, two sons, Robert and Randy Schuhart, nine grandchildren (Amber, William, Ashley, Andrea, Isabelle, Taylor, Jacob, Robert and Roger), and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
A private funeral service was held on October 25, 2016 with family.
The family of Marilyn would like to express gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Bethel Home and Aurora Hospice. Special thanks to Dr. Michael A. Duffy for providing continuous loving care of Marilyn.
