Marjorie A. Ilk's Obituary
Marjorie A. Ilk, age 96, of Oshkosh, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Parkview Health Care Center. She was born on March 24, 1918 in Fond du Lac a daughter of the late Leon and May (Doll) Dolan. She married Gregory Ilk on August 14, 1944 in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2013. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Grade School in Fond du Lac and Fond du Lac Senior High. Marjorie was currently a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Oshkosh. She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by three sons, Daniel (Marsha) Ilk and Gary (Collette) Ilk, both of Oshkosh, Stephen (Lisa) Ilk of Prineville, Oregon; two daughters, Mary Witkowski of Van Dyne and Kathleen (Gerald) Hitchcock of Oshkosh; a sister, Nancy (William) Binner of North Fond du Lac; twelve grandchildren, Amy and Sara Witkowski, Kari Chilcote, Trevor, Trent (Brooke) , Aaron (Eryn), Kyle (Emily), Geoff and Nicole Ilk, Bill (Shelly), Tom (Minda), Joe (Kerstin) Hitchcock; five great-grandchildren, Ellie, Cale, Annika, Elsie and Spencer. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Geoffrey; three sisters, Mary Sonnentag, Betty Adelman, Pattie Gratzke; a brother, Lee Dolan. Funeral services for Marjorie will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Poklasny Funeral Home, 870 W. South Park Ave in Oshkosh. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund will be established.
