Marvin A Hielsberg's Obituary
Marvin Alfred Hielsberg, age 89, of Oshkosh, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. He
was born in Oshkosh on May 9, 1932, the son of the late Alfred and Bernice (Alberts) Hielsberg.
Marv married Marlene Boushele on May 19, 1956. He proudly served his country in the U.S.
Army, spending one-and-a half years in Japan. Marv retired from Morgan Door Manufacturing
at the age of 57, after 35 years of service.
Throughout his life he followed his grandchildren’s sporting events, as well as being an avid
woodworker. It always brought a smile to his face while spending time with his wife, children,
grandchildren, and especially his great grandchildren.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marlene; four daughters: Linda Shea, Oshkosh, Kay
(Peter) Hinsch, St. Paul, MN, Leanne (Dennis) Hanagan, Appleton, Kim (David) Cihlar, Butte des
Morts; five grandchildren: Matthew (Holly) Shea, Oshkosh, Tyler (Savannah) Shea, Oshkosh,
Nicholas (Ali) Shea, Oshkosh, Max (Allie) Hinsch, Minneapolis, MN, Caleb Cihlar, Butte des
Morts; eight great grandchildren: Chloe, Allison, Phillip, Dylan, Charlie, Everly, Noel, and Lily.
Marvin was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Hielsberg.
In keeping with Marv’s wishes, a private funeral and burial was handled through Poklasny
Funeral Home.
