MARY ANN GREEN's Obituary
Mary Ann Green, age 89, of Oshkosh, died Friday February 10, 2017 at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh. She was born in Oshkosh on July 3, 1927 the daughter of the late Anton and Meta Haust Weitenbeck. Mary Ann married Donald Green in Oshkosh on June 28, 1947. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1991. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, National Catholic Society of Foresters Court #1176, Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary, and was a volunteer at Bethel Home for over twenty-five years since 1980. Mary Ann enjoyed sharing anything she cooked or baked with family and friends. Another one of her passions was playing bingo at Park View Health Center.
Mary Ann is survived by one son; Robert (Susan) Green, of Oshkosh, one daughter; Mary Sue Kallin, Oshkosh, two grandchildren; Marie (Bryan) Koch, Oshkosh, Robert Gorschels, Oshkosh, two great-grandchildren; Sarah Koch, and Kaley Koch. Mary Ann is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; John, and George Weitenbeck.
A Memorial Mass for Mary Ann will be celebrated on Friday February 17, at 6:00 PM in St Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (Sacred Heart site) with Rev William Van deKreeke and Matt Simonar officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 4:00 PM until the hour of services.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established at a later date.
