While doing so, she prepared many hundreds of 2nd graders to accept their first Holy Communion.
The outpouring of affection in the past few days of her illness by former students, parents of same, friends and family has been truly overwhelming. She was loved by so many. Her love touched so many people.
She was a lifelong member of St. Vincent’s (now St. Jude's Parish).

Mary Troiber, Sue Clark, Kathy Benkoski, Joan O’Connor, Linda Repenshek, Peggy Karls, and Mary Ann all met every month for dinner and to discuss important issues as well as many not so important.
She loved to travel with the family and especially enjoyed seeing two total eclipses of the sun (Mexico 1991 and Nebraska 2017), trips to Florida, Yellowstone, and to Australia to chase kangaroos and touch a Koala.
