Mary Jane Bloch's Obituary
Mary Jane Bloch age 87 of Oshkosh passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side on Wednesday morning March 17, 2010. She was born in Oshkosh on February 12, 1923 the daughter of John and Rose (Kinderman) Andrashko. She married Scott Bloch in Oshkosh. She was a faithful member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Oshkosh, she was employed at Hoffmaster Corporation as a secretary to Barney and then Tom Hoffmaster for over 50 years. Mary Jane is survived by one brother Jack (Lois) Andrashko of Golden Valley, MN, two sisters Betty Schneider and Ruth (Martin) Vanek both of Oshkosh. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Even though Mary Jane had no children of her own she was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother to many.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Scott in 1976, brother-in-law Alvin Schneider and nephew Eric Schneider. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday March 20, 2010 at 11am at St. Jude Catholic Church (Sacred Heart Site on the corner of 6th Ave and Knapp Street) Father Thomas Reynebeau will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:30am until the hour of Mass at 11am. Private committal services will be held at a later date.
