Mary Ann Deresinski's Obituary
Mary Ann Deresinski, age 94, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20th. Mary Ann was born on February 10, 1928 a daughter of the late Henry and Selma Deresinski. She proudly worked at the Oshkosh Truck Corporation for 44 years. For many years Mary Ann enjoyed traveling-most notably to Hawaii, California, Florida and Alaska. In the early years, she traveled with her friends. In the later years, she traveled with her sister, Kathy. Mary Ann enjoyed reading, collecting angels, playing cribbage, and watching the Hallmark channels. For the past three years, Mary Ann suffered from dementia. Now, she has gone to her eternal home to be with our Heavenly Father and the angels. Our family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staffs at Edenbrook Nursing Home and St. Croix Hospice of Fond du Lac. We would particularly like to thank Bridget, Jean, Amber, and Sara of Edenbrook and Becky, Shannon, Michelle and Chaplain Kevin of St. Croix...as well as all the rest of the staff at both facilities. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Tess; and her brother-in-laws, Richard and Cal.
Mary Ann is survived by and her memory will be cherished by two sisters, Kathy and Dorothy and two nieces, Julie and Patti. A memorial fund will be established for dementia research.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mary Ann on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 11 am in St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, (corner of 6th and Knapp Streets) in Oshkosh with the Rev. Louis Golamari as celebrant. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 am until the time of Mass. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
