Mary Jane Gabert's Obituary
Mary Jane Gabert, age 105, of Oshkosh passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. Mary was born on December 28, 1918 the daughter of Hugo and Mabel (Kitz) Faust. On October 4, 1941 she married Jerome E. Gabert. She was a faithful member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish (St. Peter’s). Mary managed the Lenox Shop on Bayshore Drive in Oshkosh for many years.
Mary is survived by her son, Daniel (Nancy) Gabert of Oshkosh. Two granddaughters, Amy (Matt) Wise and Gayle (T.J.) Howell. Three great grandchildren, Jacob and Sawyer Wise and Oakley Howell. Also a special friend and caregiver, Jan O’Kon.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerome in 1981 and one sister, Ruth McKone.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 11 am at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish (St. Peter’s). Father Jerry Pastors will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of Mass.
In Lieu of flowers memorials should be directed to Most Blessed Sacrament or to Bethel Home.
