M. J., I am saddened by your mother's death. I vividly remember seeing her when she was suffering in the hospital some years ago and I was greatly impressed by her gentleness and warmth in such circumstances. .
Mary Jo, the mother of my sister in law MJ, was a kind, gentle and generous person to me. When she would come to Charlotte we would spend time with her and Joe often. I remember that she made teddy bears with movable limbs and when my son was little (maybe 25 years ago), she gave him one of her handmade teddy bears. I believe we still have it in storage today in the hopes of passing it along if he ever has children. I always enjoyed seeing Mary Jo and know she has been through a lot medically and hope for her a peaceful transition. My love goes out to Joe, MJ, Sue, Thom, Bob and all the family as you feel the loss of Mary Jo in your and our family. Miriam Lieberman
